T-Mobile Adds Amazon Prime Music To Music Freedom, Binge On Free Streaming, Shares Music Stats

AmazonAmazon Prime Music has become the latest streaming service to become a part of T-Mobile’s Binge On and Music Freedom offerings.  Like Apple Music, Google, Pandora, Rhapsody and Spotify, along with video services like Netflix, Hulu and YouTube, content streamed from Amazon Prime Music will not count towards the T-Mobile data cap.

Starting today Amazon Music, ESPN Radio, Dailymotion, EPIX, Nickelodeon, Spike and TV Land have join the 100 music and video services streaming free to T-Mobile customers.

T-Mobile CEO and president John Legere shared some new Music Freedom and Binge On usage stats: 

  • Since Music Freedom launched, T-Mobile customers have streamed 90 billion songs.
  • T-Mobile customers are streaming 210 million songs every day.
  • With Binge On, T-Mobile customers are watching 2x more from free streaming sites on plans with limited data and have streamed over 190 million hours of video.
  • With Music Freedom and Binge On together, T-Mobile customers have saved over 350 petabytes of high-speed data.
