New Video From Reignwolf – Over & Over

New Video From Reignwolf – Over & Over

On Friday, Reignwolf finally drop their extremely anticipated debut album, Hear Me Out. This discharge comes seven years when Jordan Cook 1st donned the designation and came to fruition when sharing the stage with legendary icons Black Sabbath. only if storied history, it’s maybe fitting that the video for his or her new single “Over & Over” would be one thing of a recall to the past.

Directed by Marshall J. Baumgartner and Steve Markoff, the video culls along footage from Chesebro’s 1925 silent film Wolf Blood, that is usually touted because the 1st mythical creature moving picture ever created. As you’ll see below, the film follows belligerent work crews, whose lack of civility needs the employment of — yep, you guessed it — wolf’s blood. It’s well-suited representational process for Cook’s unsmooth growl and also the haunting swirl of the track’s guitars.

Watch below.

Reignwolf is a Canadian indie/blues rock band.

Jordan Cook was raised in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. By age 15, he had a blues rock trio which performed at Switzerland’s Montreux Jazz Festival.

In 2010, he recorded an album under his own name, entitled Seven Deadly Sins, containing heavy rock songs but still blues influenced, amongst which some of the songs he played or re-recorded later under the Reignwolf name (respectively Electric Love and Lonely Sunday).

Around 2012, Cook moved to Seattle and adopted the Reignwolf moniker. Cook’s first official show under the new name was at The Sunset Tavern in Ballard, Washington, with a new band featuring Joseph Braley and David “Stitch” Rapaport. Cook performs as both a one-man band accompanying his guitar with a kick drum, and with Rapaport and Braley.

Reignwolf appeared in the episode “What Would Phil Do?” of Cameron Crowe‘s Showtime series Roadies.

Reignwolf was declared one of “10 New Artists You Need to Know” by Rolling Stone in January 2014.

Reignwolf’s single, “Are You Satisfied”, plays over the closing credits of the pilot episode of the HBO series, “The Leftovers”.

Released February 1, 2019, “Black and Red” is the first single from Reignwolf’s debut album, Hear Me Out, will be released in March 1, 2019
