Kyle Sturrock has signed an exclusive, global publishing agreement with Universal Music Publishing Nashville.

A Dallas, Texas native, Sturrock left his finance job and moved to Nashville to pursue a career as a professional songwriter. His frequent collaborators include Chris Young, Matt Roy, Johnny Clawson, Trey Lewis, Patrick Murphy, and Ashley Cooke.

“Kyle’s keen ability to craft a lyric is something we don’t come across often,” notes Roxy King, Director, A&R at UMPG Nashville. “After playing for the entire UMPG Nashville team, we knew we were dealing with someone special. I can’t wait to see what this journey has in store for him and am honored to be a part of it.”

Sturrock adds, “I couldn’t be more excited to start this next chapter working with Roxy and the rest of the Universal team. Being able to surround myself with some of the best in the business for my first deal is a dream come true, and I knew when I first walked into the building that it was where I wanted to be. I can’t wait to get to work and take the next step in my career.”
