Fallout 76

Fallout 76 was announced on May 30, 2018. The announcement was preceded by a twenty-four hour Twitch stream that showed a Vault Boy bobblehead toy in front of a monitor with the “Please Stand By” screen that teased the announcement. This stream was watched by a total of more than two million people and generally with more than 100,000 people watching at any time.[22] The stream concluded with a brief message from Bethesda’s Todd Howard, prior to a teaser trailer set to the song “Take Me Home, Country Roads“. The trailer features scenes of Vault 76 (a location alluded to in Fallout 3 as being a “control” vault in the Washington D.C. area that was not subjected to experimentation),[23][24] which is decorated to celebrate an event referred to as “Reclamation Day”, as well as a Pip-Boy listing the current date as October 27, 2102 (just over 25 years after the Great War), an unknown dweller of Vault 76, and a broadcast containing the statement “When the fighting has stopped and the fallout has settled, you must rebuild”
