Executive Shuffle: Warner Music Group, A Million Ads, Spirit Music Group

The latest executive shuffles across the music industry…

CAA has promoted Sabrina Butera and Sam Forbet to Music Agents, as part of a wider executive shuffle that saw 5 trainees being elevated to Agent positions. Last week, CAA announced a joint venture with licensing giants Global Brands Group, and these appointments are thought to be the beginning of more to come.

Warner Music Group has promoted Matt Young to lead new artist services division called Warner Music Artist Services. Young has worked for Warner Music Group for the past 8 years. In his new role, Young will report to WEA President, Matt Signore.

Warner Music UK has elevated Emmy Lovell from Head of Digital to Vice President of Digital. Lovell has worked for Warner Music since 2013, and prior to working for Warner she worked as a Senior Digital Manager for EMI.

Elsewhere,

A Million Ads has hired Sam Crowther as Head of Creative Development. Crowther comes from Bauer Media Group where he worked for nearly 5 years. With Bauer, Crowther started off as Head of Creative, and ended up being Creative Director for Commercial Audio, before moving to A Million Ads.

Spirit Music Group has elevated Jon Singer from Worldwide CFO of the company to Worldwide Chief Operating Office/Chief Financial Officer. In his new role, Singer will continue overseeing the company’s finance operations, analyse and negotiate new deals, source and structure strategic partnerships and joint ventures, and contribute to the company’s overall strategic planning and growth. Singer will continue to be based in the company headquarters in New York.
