Last month we officially opened the doors to our brand new establishment, Point Blank China. To celebrate the beginning of this new Far East venture we held an exclusive launch party at our brand new studio complex at the International Expo Centre, Hangzhou, in the heart of China’s creative district. The event was held in the hub of our new campus – an area of the school which serves as a breakout space for our students by day and a nightclub in the evenings, fully equipped with a DJ booth, professional lighting and sound system. We were joined by a number of industry figures, artists, taste-makers and newly appointed PB staff at the launch event to deliver speeches and partake in a special ribbon-cutting ceremony, not to mention an extra special performance from global artists W&W.
Now, for the first time since opening, we are excited to share a first look at our state-of-the-art facilities in action. Tune into our official Point Blank studio tour below.
Point Blank China will offer up a selection of 19 courses spanning six categories including Music Production, DJ Skills, Music Industry and more. The programmes will all take place in-house at our new 6,000 square meter state-of-the-art studios, which feature DJ rooms, music production rooms, music industry classrooms, recording/mixing studios, practice rooms, a performance area, a social hub and more. As is tradition with other Point Blank studios, our new China facilities are decked out with the latest and greatest in tech, sponsored by industry giants such as Pioneer DJ and Native Instruments.
