Lido Pimienta won the Polaris Music Prize last night for her album La Papessa. The Polaris Music Prize is awarded to the best full-length album by a Canadian artist, based strictly on artistic merit, as determined by an 11-member grand jury who are in turn selected from a larger pool of 201 jurors
