Live From Point Blank: Native Instruments Maschine

Our BA (Hons) Music Production & Sound Engineering Degree is one of the most comprehensive music courses available. With modules on production, sound design, DJing, mixing & mastering, music business and more our students leave well versed in all aspects of producing music. At our London facility, we’ve provided our students with everything they need to craft great records from our Pioneer DJ sponsored DJ room and fully equipped workstations to our two consoles – an SSL Duality and an Audient 8024.

Every now and again, we check up on our classes, streaming live so that you can get a taste of what it is like to be a student at Point Blank. Today, we popped into expert instructor Doug McAvoy’s Native Instruments Maschine class, to have a chat and see how the students were getting on. You can watch it in the video above.

If you want to learn more production techniques, as well as come and see our amazing new London facility, our Diploma courses teach you everything you need to know to take your music to the next level, with the latest industry-standard equipment. Our 48-channel SSL Duality Delta is the centrepiece of our new facility, with a whole room dedicated to the latest Pioneer DJ equipment and another studio full of Push 2s! Plus, there’s practice rooms with Roland TR-8s, NI Maschine and more for when you’re not in class but need to work on your tracks. Find out more about our London school here and book yourself on our BA (Hons) Music Production and Sound Engineering Degree.
