We’re excited to announce that Kwame Kwaten, the head honcho of Ferocious Talent and successful music industry contributor, has joined the Point Blank Music School team. Taking ownership of the Point Blank Recordings record label and acting as our in house A&R Executive, Kwame will bring his depth of musical knowledge and experience to both our label project and our students moreover.
To celebrate the arrival of Kwame we sat down with him to discuss some of the most important aspects of working in the industry. Having had a #1 in the dance chart with his band D Influence, signed to Atlantic Records, been shortlisted for a Mercury Prize, supported the likes of Michael Jackson, Prince, James Brown and managed the successful Laura Mvula and Shola Ama – it would be a very good idea to take on board and absorb everything this man says.
